Who we are
Good Shepherd Parish NY is a parish member of the IECB,
We are a fully liturgical and sacramental church, rooted in the rich traditions of the ancient Christian faith. Our worship is centered around the Holy Eucharist and the sacraments, embodying the beauty of liturgical celebration. We are also evangelical, proclaiming the Good News of Jesus Christ with passion and joy, and charismatic, open to the renewing work of the Holy Spirit in our lives and ministries.
Our mission is to bring the love of God and the transformative message of the Gospel to our local community and beyond. Whether through worship, service, outreach, or teaching, we strive to be a place where everyone can encounter the living Christ, grow in faith, and experience the fullness of life that God offers to all.
How we got started
Good Shepherd Parish NY was founded in 2023. Through the ecclesiastical, emotional and spiritual support of our Brazilian and Canadian colleagues, we started our Parish in our home. Our altar and Church furnishings were the beginning of celebrating the Holy Eucharist and spreading the love and Word of God through local invitations, community services and online live streams.
Where We're Headed
Through your support, Good Shepherd Parish NY will continue to grow. Our vision is clear; we continue to build the Kingdom of God and aim to positively impact our local and world community. We strive to spread the Love of God and the Word of the Lord, venturing to expand our discipleship.
